Export of Currencies
For
over 15 years, WSFL is exporting surplus currencies to the banks and
exchange houses in London, Dubai, Bahrain and various oversee countries.
We are presently shipping our currencies from Delhi & Cochin
through our local banking relationships. Our Treasury is equipped with
latest automation and experience to take care of our foreign exchange
positions in highly volatile market.
All operations are well managed and covered under insurance to address risks on physical movement of currency notes.
Import of Currencies
Currency note business is dynamic with regard to its demand and supply. There are times when there is shortage of currency notes in India. Reserve Bank of India has given us permission to import currency notes to meet the demand of local market.
Retail Forex
The
company has been offering all forex related services to a wide base of
customers since the early nineties. Prompt and efficient services have
made WSFL the most preferred choice in all major cities across India.
The company provides currency, traveler cheques and prepaid cards in
currency of all major countries. WSFL retails American Express Traveler
Cheques and Prepaid Foreign currency cards of Axis Bank and ICICI Bank
(recent tie-up) in US, Australian, Canadian, Singapore Dollar, Euro,
Sterling Pound and Swiss Frans.
Outward Remittances
We are an Authorized Dealer (II), permitted by Reserve Bank of India to
offer Outward Remittance facilities to its customers. We offer our
range of currencies, traveler cheques, demand drafts and telegraphic
transfers to our large section of customers who require such exchange
for various purposes as per Reserve Bank of India guidelines.

Cash Withdrawal Services against Debit/ Credit Cards
WSFL,
in its quest to offer range of foreign exchange services to its
customers, provides encashment facilities to the travelling foreign
nationals to withdraw Indian rupee against their International Credit
Cards. Our branches at tourist locations and at major towns are equipped
with EDC terminals which provide the instant cash facility to the
inbound tourists.
We have partnered with IDBI bank for the EDC swiping terminals which are available across our branches.
